At LifeChurch we like to hold regular events at the normal service time to redefine the way we share time as a community and worship together. The calendar below shows our upcoming services and service times.
Pub Church
Lifechurch started it’s Pub Church ministry in early 2011 and is a meetup which occurs every Wednesday, 6.00pm at the Kings Head Hotel on King William St. This is a ministry designed to connect with people interested in faith who don’t go to church, or maybe have dropped a way from church. People who for whatever reason would not go to a church service, but might well be keen to chat about the faith, spirituality and the bible over a meal in a pub.
If you have friends, work colleagues, family who might really connect with this group please feel free to invite them along. The group will meet fortnightly and the vibe will be informal, relaxed and friendly.
Meal Nights
Occasionally we do away with traditional seating facing the front and gather in tables to share in a meal. Meal nights usually also include a message which provides plenty of food for thought and discussion, a great chance to meet other people and share in great conversation.
Debates
Two teams of debaters (members of the church community) tackle important issues such as “Does God change His mind?” and “Should the Church have a greater influence on Politics?“. Always a thought provoking and enjoyable event, the LifeChurch debates have been a great way of exploring interesting topics which are often neglected at church.
