Prayer Night

Posted on 11th July 2010 by multimedia in Uncategorized

There are many parts of our greater community that are indirectly related to our ministry at LifeChurch Unley. During tonight’s service we took some time to pray for people, families, businesses and other communities in the area. We also prayed for friends, family and workmates who we interact with and are witnesses to in our every day lives. Additionally, prayer was also centered around he upcoming LifeChurch camp, that it is a valuable and forward looking experience.

Please include these points in your prayers throughout the week.

On Sunday night at LifeChurch we watched theCalling Charlie DVD on the topic of mission and were confronted by these challenging questions. They are challenges that as a church we are wrestling with, individually and corporately. Our heart and desire is to be a community that extends beyond itself the good news about Jesus that brings us together. So right now we are devoting time to pray and time to reconsider what it means to be a local church in Australia today. If that excites you-feel free to come on the journey with us-as the scriptures say-the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few…
